CLEVELAND — With the partial government shutdown in its 35th day, the union representing aviation safety inspectors and technicians at the Federal Aviation Administration and the American Federation of Government Employees held a protest Friday to call for the end of the government shutdown at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

On Friday, many government employees won't receive their second paycheck.
On Thursday, the Senate took votes on Thursday to fund the government temporarily, with both pieces of legislation failing to reach the 60 votes needed to pass.
