CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating a shooting that resulted in a car crash and a man’s death earlier this week.
According to authorities, at around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to the 12000 block of Ingomar Avenue for a car that crashed into a pole in Cleveland’s Forest Hills neighborhood.
Upon arrival, officers located the driver and discovered that he had been shot. The man was transported to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead, police said.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the man was driving when he was struck by a bullet which caused him to crash, police said.
Police have no suspects.
The shooting remains under investigation.
