Man killed, another flown to hospital after East 104th Street shooting

A shooting left one person dead and another was flown to the hospital on Sunday.

Police were called to East 104th Street and Miles Avenue for a man shot shortly before 10 p.m.

When police arrived, they learned a Lincoln SUV was taken in an aggravated robbery near East 93rd Street and Miles Avenue. Police followed the vehicle until it crashed on East 100th Street and the suspect fled.

While police were at the scene with the SUV, two victims with gunshot wounds were located. THey were taken to Marymount Hospital. 

Police reported one victim died at 10:31 p.m. The second victim was taken by medical helicopter to MetroHealth Medical Center. The homicide unit was notified.
