A man told police he was shot while playing cards, but the person who shot him didn't mean to do it.
Cleveland police responded to Richmond Hospital for a man shot.
When they arrived, the victim, identified as 54-year-old Marvin Williams, said he was at a card game at a home near East 127th Street and Shaw Avenue when another man who was there was playing with a pistol and dropped it. The gun went off and shot Williams in the ankle.
Williams said he did not know the man's name who shot him, but described him as a black man in his 50's with a beard.
Williams told police he believed the man did not mean to shoot him.
