Memorial services are planned Monday for former U.S. Rep. Steven C. LaTourette.
The former Ohio congressman died earlier this month at his home in McLean, Va. after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
The memorial entitled "A Service of Memorial and Celebration for the Life of Steven Clair LaTourette" will take place at University Circle United Methodist Church located at 1919 East 107th Street at 10:30 a.m.
Gov. John Kasich ordered that flags be flown at half-staff at all public buildings and grounds throughout Geauga, Lake and Cuyahoga counties on Monday.
LaTourette is survived by his wife, Jennifer and their children, Emerson and Henry; as well as his children, Sarah (Scott), Sam, Clare, and Amy; and his grandson, Matthew.
