INDEPENDENCE, Ohio — A local organization held its annual bowling event on Sunday to raise money and awareness for the local autism community.
Milestones Autism Resources held its seventh annual Strike It Big bowling fundraiser on Sunday afternoon.
Contributions raised during the fundraiser help support the organization’s free Helpdesk, a service that allows families with children on the spectrum to contact professional staff for guidance, resources and individualized information during their child’s development.
The service helps more than 2,400 families in the Greater Cleveland area.
More than 300 bowlers attended the event this year.
