CLEVELAND — A new exhibit is fluttering its way to the Cleveland Botanical Gardens.
The Amazing Butterflies exhibit will showcase caterpillars transforming into butterflies.
Amazing Butterflies includes a butterfly zip line, a climbable spiderweb and a giant caterpillar entry tunnel.
The Botanical Garden’s regular butterfly collection will be highlighted during the exhibit with additional live butterflies to be released throughout the show.
“This is a perfect exhibit for us to bring to Cleveland,” said Brian Gibbons, Cleveland Botanical Garden Director of Gardens and Glasshouse. “This exhibit gives us the opportunity to tell the story of the butterfly, which we do every day in our glasshouse, in an interactive way that families can enjoy together.”
Amazing Butterflies will run from March 23 through April 28.
The exhibit will be open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Wednesdays from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Sundays from noon until 5 p.m.
Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for children aged 3 to 12 and free for children under 2.
