Police issue warrant for man accused of striking, killing in pedestrian run near Tremont

CLEVELAND — Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man who allegedly hit and killed another man near Tremont.

Richard Dubaniewicz, 58, was struck while trying to cross West 25th Street and Clark Avenue.

Police said Aaron Stallworth, 30, was driving blue 2009 Chevy Malibu, went speeding through a red light and hit Dubaniewicz.

Dubaniewicz then collided into a 2007 Saturn at the intersection.

Police said Stallworth fled the scene in his Malibu and collided with another vehicle at Wade Avenue.

Stallworth and a passenger of the Malibu were seen fleeing on foot after the crash.

Dubaniewicz was pronounced dead at the scene.
