Cleveland EMS said a man was hit and killed on I-90 westbound near East 105th Street.
The man was struck around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 40-year-old Kevin Hicks.
Hicks was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
The highway was shut down for several hours while police investigated.
