CLEVELAND — Police are investigating a homicide that occurred in Cleveland’s Brooklyn Centre neighborhood Monday, according to Cleveland police.
Around 1:15 p.m., officers were called to the 3600 block of West 32nd Street where they found a 24-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
A witness told police that the 24-year-old man was speaking to an unknown heavyset man in the middle of the street when the shots were fired. The heavyset man then ran to a dark-colored SUV, entered the front passenger door and the SUV fled the scene, police said.
The incident remains under investigation.
