President Trump will bring his plans for fixing America's infrastructure to Northeast Ohio.
The White House officially announced a visit to Richfield on March 29. The President ix expected to promote his plans to rebuild and repair the nation's crumbling roads and bridges.
In February, President Trump asked Congress to consider using a $200 billion federal investment to leverage more than $1 trillion in state, local and private funding. The goal is to use the money to pay for improvements to the nation's infrastructure, including roads, highways, bridges, ports and airports.
President Trump's plan has not received widespread support on Capitol Hill. He initially promoted the funding plan as one that would gain bipartisan support.
The White House is expected to release more details on the President's trip to Richfield in the coming days.
