With the Republican National Convention coming to a close, it's time for the visitors to head home. While many delegations traveled by bus or by train, the TSA is getting ready for record breaking numbers to go through the airport.
The TSA is expecting around 18,000 people to travel through Cleveland Hopkins tomorrow, which is 30% more than an average day. They say it has the potential to be record breaking.
For anyone traveling, additional K-9 units will be on hand to help with security screenings. The checkpoints open at 3:30 a.m. and all lanes will be operational with extra staff, but plan to get there 2 hours ahead of your scheduled departure.
