Search for kidnapper intensifies with billboards

Days after police released chilling new photos and video of the man wanted in connection with a 6-year-old Cleveland girl's abduction, authorities have now put up digital billboards to help in the search.

The billboards feature surveillance photos of the alleged abductor and a car of interest in the case. One is visible from Public Square in downtown Cleveland.

Cleveland and Elyria police, along with the FBI, pleaded with the public for information last week, confirming that the case is forensically connected to an attempted abduction in Elyria in February.

Officials described the suspect as a white male with light brown hair and a "neatly-trimmed" beard. He was about 5-foot 10-inches tall and had at least one tattoo. He was wearing a maroon or red hoodie.

They have also noted a "car of interest," which is a Pontiac Grand Am.

Authorities said the 6-year-old girl, who is seen being carried out of her home by a man around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 21st, gave investigators specific details they hope can lead them to the man.

The reward for information leading to an arrest has been increased to $20,000.
