St. Augustine Church and Hunger Center is celebrating Easter by feeding those in need.
The tradition started 45 years ago and has carried on ever since.
Volunteers cook and prepare the meals and then personally serve them to visitors in the dining hall.
Sister Corita Ambro says it's always an emotional experience.
"Holidays are lonely days. Especially for those who don't have their families around, so that's why we really push these dinners on holidays," she explained.
Claire Quinn from Parma is volunteering for the first time. She said it feels good to give back.
"I want them to know that each and every one of them are loved," said Quinn.
The church also delivered thousands of meals to homes throughout Cuyahoga County.
