CLEVELAND — Strong wind gusts brought down trees and power lines, causing power outages all over Northeast Ohio Thursday night.

In the Cleveland area, gusts have been reported around 40 miles per hour.

Multiple areas in Cleveland Heights had trees and power lines brought down by high winds. Cleveland Heights police used their tow truck to pull trees from the street to get roads open.

Northeast Ohio was under a wind advisory until 3 a.m., but strong gusts moved out of the area by midnight.
