A 14-year-old accused of being responsible for several robberies in Cleveland who was arrested Wednesday with a fake gun will stay in Cleveland's Juvenile Detention Center.
A source told newsnet5.com the teen was arrested at a home in Cleveland. Officers confiscated the gun, which was loaded with fake bullets and did not have an orange tip.
The boy's public defender said he should be released from the Juvenile Detention Center. The prosecutor said he shouldn't be released to his mother's custody because what he did was very dangerous. The judge agreed with the prosecutor.
The boy's next hearing is scheduled for Jan. 13 at 8:30 a.m.
