CLEVELAND — Willson Elementary School, 1126 Ansel Road, is closed after a standoff took place in the area of the school early Friday morning, according to Tom Ott, of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.
Police were called around 3:45 a.m. to the 1200 block of East 87th Street for a 34-year-old man shot in the leg.
SWAT was called because it was believed the suspect was involved in a shooting near the 1170 block of East 87th Street.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident, police said.
