A family dog has died after a fire broke out on the second floor of an apartment house in the 4700 block of Clinton Avenue in Cleveland.
When the fire broke out, Cleveland Fire said a woman was inside the room.
She suffered some burns and was transported to the hospital but is expected to recover, officials said. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
