A Cleveland dad is looking for a couple of strangers that gifted him and his son with tickets to the World Series earlier this week.

Dale Phelps took his 7-year-old son, Brody Phelps, to Progressive Field Wednesday to take in all of the excitement. They planned to leave the plaza area after the third inning.

“She said ‘do you wanna go into the game,’” Phelps told News 5. “We had no intention of going to the game."

But he said the woman insisted he take the tickets, no charge.

“It meant more than I can possibly tell you,” Phelps said.

He and Brody stayed through the eighth inning. Before accepting the ticket, Phelps said he gave the couple his email address. He’d like to find them, so he can thank them again.

“I felt excited. I felt eager, really eager,” said Brody. “It was crazy! Everyone was screaming.”
