COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Lt. Gov. John Husted answers a lot of questions these days. More than any other topic, his spokesperson said he gets asked about the length of his hair. We asked the tough questions and found out just what you've been wondering.

“I got a haircut recently, not a lot,” Husted said. “It’s interesting, I let my hair grow when nobody could get a haircut and I just let it grow as a reminder that people out there in the business world and people out there are struggling."

Husted said he plans to keep his locks longer for the foreseeable future.

"I use it as a reminder to me every day that you've got to keep working to help those folks," he said.

However, Husted admitted there's another reason the locks of his hair have remained longer over the past few weeks.

"Along the way my wife said she liked it so then I was really stuck," Husted said.

News 5 didn't just ask about Husted's tresses, however.

Husted also answered questions about Gov. Mike DeWine's postitive and then negative COVID-19 test results and school sports this fall.
