CLYDE, Ohio — A massive cloud of black smoke took over the sky after a fire started at a recycling facility in Clyde, located in Sandusky County, on Tuesday, according to ABC affiliate WTVG in Toledo.

Multiple departments responded at around 10 a.m. to Keegan Enterprises, located at 7433 OH-101 in Clyde.

The large fire created a cloud of smoke in the area, closing down Ohio 412 and County Road 235, just east of the facility, according to Sandusky Firefighters Local 327.

Keegan Enterprises sorts and redistributes packing supplies like wood pallets and plastic coverings, according to WTVG.

Video from Jerri Stacy, shared by the Erie County Scanner Uncensored Facebook page, shows the massive blaze from a distance.

There was a large fire at the same recycling facility in October 2020.

It's unknown at this time how the fire started.
