More than 49,000 residents across Northeast Ohio are without power after severe weather

CLEVELAND — Severe weather caused power outages for more than 49,000 residents across Northeast Ohio.

The power outage were mainly in Medina, Summit and Stark counties as heavy wind caused downed power lines and trees.

  • Geauga County—1,195
  • Lorain County—2, 876
  • Medina County—10,704
  • Portage County—4,562
  • Summit County—15,860
  • Stark County–2,053
  • Wayne County—1,663
