Ashland police have arrested two suspects in connection with a break at an animal clinic in Wayne County, in which thousands of pills were stolen.

Authorities said the suspects, identified as 21-year-old Casey Pattie and 20-year-old Skye Parker Rosa Dedic, were arrested on Wednesday. They have not been charged. Officials are speaking with the prosecutor regarding charges.

On Wednesday, the Wayne County Sheriff's Department was trying to track down crooks who broke into an animal clinic and stole thousands of high-powered pain pills and liquid tranquilizers.

According to police, authorities received information from patrol officers about Pattie and Dedic. A search warrant was executed at their apartment in the 200 block of Mathews Avenue on Thursday. Police have not said if anything was taken from the apartment.

Ashland City police said Pattie and Dedic are allegedly responsible for at least five other break ins including the Claremont Veterinary Clinic, the Ashland Golf Club, and the Family Chiropractic Clinic. The suspects steal money and medication from the establishments.

Pattie and Dedic are being held at the Ashland County Jail.
