CLEVELAND — Many Ohioans have fallen on hard times and found themselves without a job due to the coronavirus pandemic, and, in response, 80 organizations in the Greater Cleveland area have registered to participate in the Cuyahoga County Virtual Job Fair, where they will discuss current openings and how to apply for open jobs.

Amazon, Cleveland Clinic, Allstate Insurance, MetroHealth, University Hospitals, Cedar Point, Fifth Third Bank, Giant Eagle, FedEx, Dave’s Markets and Lucky’s Markets are among some of the organizations participating.

The virtual job fair will provide a platform to describe employer hiring needs, products, services, career pathways, culture and how to apply.

Participants can register now for the virtual job fair. Once registered, participants can visit the fair anytime from June 15 at 9 a.m. through June 19 at 4 p.m. to upload their materials and search for open jobs. Participants will have the opportunity to chat with recruiters from 9-4 each day.

If you need a computer or access to the internet, Cuyahoga County partnered with PCs for People and the Mandel Foundation to provide computers, hot spots and three months of internet for free to those eligible.

To request a computer or hot spot, participants should call (216) 319-5993.
