A New Mexico high school student with terminal cancer is coming to Cleveland to watch LeBron James and the Cavs in the next round of the playoffs.

"Kyle is going to have the time of his life," said Jason Beudert, co-founder of A Special Wish, Cleveland. The trip is thanks to the Cleveland-based charity. A Special Wish Cleveland is a wish-granting organization for children with life-threatening illnesses birth to 21 years old.

"We heard the story on your station," Beudert said.

At that point, he knew he had to get involved.

Kyle Osborne was diagnosed with terminal cancer last year. He is a huge Cavs fan and told his dad he wanted to meet James. The 19-year-old was too old to get help from many organizations. That's when one woman sent one tweet about Kyle that has been retweeted thousands of times.

Beudert said Kyle and his family will most likely attend the first playoff game of the next round depending on the date.

The family will be picked up at the airport in a limousine, stay at a downtown hotel, get a flavor of the city by eating at some of the most popular restaurants, tour the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, before capping the trip off with watching a playoff game according to Beudert.

“We call it a sparkle of joy. So if we can make a positive memory, great experience for the family, it's a win win," Beudert said.
