The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is holding a "Red, White and Woof" promotion where you can adopt a dog for $20.
The event runs until July 20.
If you already own a dog or have children, they will be required to meet any new potential best friends.
The shelter is located at 9500 Sweet Valley Drive in Valley View.
