The Cleveland Metropolitan School District and the Cleveland Teacher's Union have reached an agreement after more than a year of negotiations dating back from August 2016.

The earlier agreement was rejected by union members in September of last year.

Once members of the Cleveland Teachers Union and school board review and ratify the contract, a new deal will go into effect immediately.
