A chase involving Brecksville Police ended in a crash.
The chase began around 2:30 a.m.
According to the Brecksville Police Department, the chase started after an officer spotted a vehicle with expired plates and determined the driver had a suspended license.
The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver sped off, police said. The officer contacted dispatch, and other officers from Independence and Cuyahoga Heights laid down stop sticks.
The driver exited the highway and continued on East 94th Street and Harvard Avenue, where she hit a pole.
She was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
Charges are being reviewed pending further investigation, police said.
