Cleveland's Board of Control approved two conditional contracts Wednesday worth $848,640 in personal protective equipment for police and safety in preparation for the Republican National Convention, according to city spokesperson Daniel Williams.
The Department of Public Safety's recommendations passed for conditional rewards to bids from:
- Galls, LLC for personal protective equipment for six months in the amount of $565,440, and
- Atwell's Police & Fire Equipment Company for personal protective equipment for six months in the amount of $283,200, city spokesperson Dan Williams confirmed.
