CLEVELAND — Dangerous swimming conditions have prompted a Beach Hazards Statement that will be in effect through Wednesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
The Beach Hazards Statement is in effect until 4 p.m. for Erie, Lorain, Cuyahoga and Lake counties.
The Beach Hazards Statement is issued when there is a risk for swimming because of large waves and rip currents.
The current swimming risks can create life threatening conditions even for good swimmers.
