PARMA, Ohio — A traveling exhibit about the dangers of drug abuse has a stop in Northeast Ohio. It’s called "Drugs: Costs & Consequences, Opening Eyes to the Damage Drugs Cause."

The interactive exhibit gives visitors an eye-opening look at the consequences of drug abuse.

The exhibit is up and running at the Parma branch of the Cuyahoga County Library. It includes an overview of the impact of drugs on society, drug production and trafficking, the science of addiction and the cost of drug abuse on society, the environment, health and communities.

More than 22 million students, educators and families have visited the traveling exhibit since it started touring the nation in 2002.

Access to the exhibit is free and open to the public.

The exhibit is open Monday and Wednesdays 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
