SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — A father and his 10-year-old son were robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Shaker Heights Tuesday, according to the Shaker Heights Police Department.

Officers responded at around 3:39 p.m. to the 17000 block of Winslow Road where a 50-year-old Shaker Heights resident and his 10-year-old son reported two unknown males, one armed with a gun, demanded his personal property while shoving a handgun in the man’s side.

The resident told officers that after giving the two males his cash and other personal property, both fled on foot.

A detailed description of the two males was not given to the police.

No injuries were reported, police said.

The armed robbery is under investigation.
