Jonida Alicka, a former Linndale reserve police officer, pled guilty to possession with intent to distribute and conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance in the U.S. District Court in Cleveland earlier Wednesday.

According to police reports, in March, Jonida Alicka and her sister Denisa were arrested for distribution of narcotics in their homes when officers from Cleveland FBI, Cleveland, Parma, Rocky River and several other agencies executed a search warrant. Both of the women were taken into custody during the raid.

The warrants were executed based on complaints filed in the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, alleging the two women had intent to distribute MDMA and marijuana.

Jonida Alicka, 28, appeared before U.S. District Court Judge Dan Aaron Polster and pled guilty to the charges. She will be sentenced on November 2.

Officials believe the two sisters traveled out-of-state to purchase the drugs with the help of male acquaintances and boyfriends.

Linndale police said Jonida Alicka was removed from their office and her volunteer position in March. She was not paid by the Village of Linndale.
