A pregnant 14-year-old who has been missing since Dec. 4 was found in Cleveland Thursday night.
Police caught up with the pair after a police pursuit. Louis Jakab III, 33, was taken into custody at I-480 W and Grayton Road.
Authorities say the 14-year-old was on the run with her fugitive cousin, Jakab, who is also the father of her child.
U.S. Marshals, Strongsville police, Ohio State Highway Patrol and Northeast Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force were all on the scene.
U.S. Marshals say Jakab and Clay crashed their car into another car, then took off on foot. They were caught shortly after.
Jakab was taken into custody and the teen was taken to Fairview Hospital.
U.S. Marshals say the teen and Jakab were last seen at a hotel in Fairfax, Virginia on Dec. 11.
Officials have been looking for the pair since the teen was reported missing by her mother, 36-year-old Helena R. Clay, who was later charged for lying to police about the circumstances involving the teen's disappearance.
Jakab is wanted on several felony warrants, including interfering with custody, robbery, theft, fraud, passing bad checks and receiving stolen property. He is also wanted for violating parole and has a manslaughter conviction.
