A man is in custody after SWAT raided a hotel Friday morning in Westlake following a shooting that happened in North Ridgeville on Thursday.
According to authorities, the man — who police have not identified — was arrested at Red Roof Inn, 29595 Clemens Road on Friday morning. The man surrendered to police without incident.
Police said the man was wanted for his alleged involvement in a shooting that took place early morning on Patton Drive in North Ridgeville on Jan. 4 where a woman was injured
The Patton Drive shooting is not connected to a second shooting that occurred on Bender Road where a woman was found shot in her car, police said.
Authorities are still looking for the suspect in that shooting.
