RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio — The husband of a woman who was found dead in a Richmond Heights apartment last month has been charged with murder and was arraigned Friday.
A $1 million bond was continued for Knee Wachee, who is accused of killing his wife, 22-year-old Maiya Latimer.
Latimer was found dead on Thursday, May 23 in an apartment in the 400 block of Richmond Park East. Authorities questioned Wachee and later arrested him.
Wachee has been charged with aggravated murder, murder and felonious assault in connection with his wife's death.
Wachee is scheduled to appear in court next on June 25 at 9 a.m. for a pre-trial hearing.
