Cleveland police are investigating a fatal shooting that left one man dead early Tuesday morning.
Police responded to the area of E. 143rd Street and Kinsman Road shortly after 3:00 a.m. for reports of a person shot.
The male victim was located on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, according to police. EMS also responded and administered treatment on scene, but the victim died from his injuries.
Officers later discovered the victim was walking west on Kinsman Road when he encountered the shooter. An argument started once the shooter showed a weapon before shooting the victim.
The shooter fled the area on foot, according to police.
