A Cleveland man is charged with attempting to give heroin to his wife while she was staying at Fairview Hospital.
On December 28, 2016, a nursing staff member at the hospital contacted the Cleveland Clinic Police Department about a man who appeared to have shared drugs with his wife.
Mitchell King, 53, was arrested with a total of seven bags of heroin. All seven bags of the white substance were tested positive for heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine by the Cuyahoga County Regional Forensics Science Laboratory.
King is indicted on three counts of drug possession and one charge prohibition of conveyance of certain items. King is set to be arraigned on March 15 at 8:30 a.m. at the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.
