A man wanted from Florida on sexual abuse charges was arrested Friday in Public Square.
Brian Buttolph, 27, was wanted on a warrant issued April 18 for the sexual battery on someone under the age of 12, according to a U.S. Marshal news release.
Investigators were able to gather information that Buttolph moved to Cleveland following the alleged sexual assault.
On Friday, members of the Cleveland task force were able to arrest Buttolph after he was spotted near West 6th Street and Superior Avenue, the news release said.
Buttolph is being held in the Cuyahoga County Jail until he can be extradited back to Florida to face charges.
