The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office and Cleveland police are attempting to identify a body that was found on the city's east side last month.
The body is that of a white woman with long brown hair and an estimated age range between 30s and mid-40s and about 5-foot-6-inches.
Officers were called Oct. 17 after reports of a body at about 12:20 p.m. in the area of East 55th Street and Dibble Avenue.
Police said a man who was looking for scrap in a vacant field found a bag containing human remains.
