PEPPER PIKE, Ohio — A Pepper Pike officer is being applauded for tracking down a boy’s stolen Power Wheel toy tractor and returning it to him on Wednesday.

At about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, Pepper Pike police took a report for a stolen Power Wheel from a resident’s driveway on Hunting Hollow, according to a Facebook post from the department.

Officer Munn learned that a neighbor saw a man pull up to the house in an SUV, grab the Power Wheel from the driveway, put it into his trunk and drive off. The neighbor was able to take down the license plate of the SUV.

Munn tracked down the vehicle, recovered the stolen Power Wheel, and return it to its grateful owner within a couple of hours.

A Pepper Pike police official said that as of this time, no arrests have been made.
