NEWBURGH HEIGHTS, Ohio — Newburgh Heights police are asking the public’s help in identifying two individuals in connection to an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon.
On March 24 around 2:34 p.m., police responded to a Family Dollar in the 5400 block of Harvard Avenue after receiving a report of an armed robbery.
Once on the scene, police learned that two men entered the store and were waiting around while other customers finished their transactions. After the transactions were completed, the two men pulled out handguns, aimed them at the cashiers and demanded cash.
The two men then fled with the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Newburgh Heights officers responded to Fleet Avenue on Friday after a reported sighting of the two men. Police were able to positively identify the two men as the same individuals from the robbery, but both men were able to flee the scene on foot.
Anyone who knows the identity of either two men is asked to call the Newburgh Height Police Department at 216-641-5545.
