PARMA, Ohio — The Parma Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a woman who is a person of interest in a shooting that occurred on Westlake Avenue Thursday evening.
Around 6:20 p.m., officers were called to the 5900 block of Westlake Avenue for report of a male shot.
The shooting victim, a 63-year-old man, was shot multiple times in the legs by a man he knew who fled the scene before officers arrived.
The 63-year-old man was stabilized and transported to a nearby hospital where he underwent surgery, police said.
Later that night, around 10:30 p.m., the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested the alleged shooter, 47-year-old Troy Sharp, in the 300 block of Runn Street in Berea, according to police.
Sharp was charged with felonious assault and is being held on a $1,000,000 cash/surety bond in the Parma Jail. His next court hearing is scheduled for Monday, April 5.
Police are now searching for a female who is a person of interest in the incident. Her photo is shown above.
