Garfield Heights Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly shot a 22-year-old in the head following a bar fight early Saturday morning, authorities said.
According to police, a fight broke out between "numerous" people inside Niecy's Place, located at 11321 Broadway Ave., at around 1 a.m.
Security broke up the fight and led the group out into the parking lot.
Police said shortly after, somebody shot a 22-year-old man in the head while the victim sat in his car.
The man is in critical condition and is undergoing surgery.
Authorities did not have further information on the incident but said that people at the bar - and those involved in the fight - were mostly gone by the time officers got to the scene.
