OLMSTED TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A man and his wife said they were tied up during an aggravated burglary at their home in Olmsted Township last week, according to police.
On July 11, officers responded at around 2:55 a.m. to Oxford Park Lane for a report of a home invasion.
The victim, identified as the husband, went to the neighbor’s house to ask them to contact police, stating three people entered his home and tied him and his wife up while they ransacked the upstairs searching for money.
The front wooden door with glass was shattered, which had been the point of entry, police said.
No one was found in the home, police said. The man and his wife were not injured.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation was contacted and responded to the scene. Police believe this burglary was an isolated incident.
