Shaker Heights High School was dismissed early Monday after three anonymous bomb threats.

After received the threats, administrators informed Shaker Heights police.

Police conducted a security sweep and the school implemented early dismissal, "out of an abundance of caution."

According to school officials, this could be connected to a social media incident last week that involved several high school students.

“We take these things very seriously. We are fully cooperating with the police,” said superintendent Gregory Hutchings, Jr.. “We are saddened that people have taken it upon themselves to disrupt our educational process. We will get through this together.”
