The non-runners guide to road closures for the 40th Annual Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon

Posted
and last updated

Runners will hit the city's streets during the 40th Annual Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon on May 20 and May 21.

For those not running, navigating the downtown area can be a little tricky. Since there are races on Saturday and Sunday, there will be quite a few roads closed in the morning going into the afternoon.

  • The 5K and 8K races begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
  • The marathon, half marathon and 10K races begin at 7 a.m. on Sunday.

If you're heading downtown, taking the RTA may be the best way to go because it's the easiest way to enter and exit the city. All day passes for $5 are available on riderta.com
