Cleveland police officers on bikes, sheriff's deputies on foot, security for the Republican National Convention shifted into high gear on Friday.
Fencing around some key parts of Cleveland is already up.
Several different law enforcement agencies have set up command posts in and around Cleveland, including the FBI. The FBI has three different different centers in their building. The Intelligence Operation Center, The Joint Operations Center and The All Hazard Center.
The Intelligence Operation Center has more than 40 agencies represented. "It's the hub for our intelligence information that is coming through, it's being analyzed and discussed," said Special Agent Vicki Anderson.
Anderson said there is no known threat to the RNC, but she said they are prepared for the worst case scenario.
The Cleveland Division of Emergency Medical Service is prepared too. They have added seven mini ambulances to their fleet. "It will allow us to get into and out of crowds easier," said Commissioner Nicole Carlton.
Police agencies continue to ask for the publics help in keeping the RNC safe. A hotline has been established for tips, that number is 1-800-CALL-FBI. There are also billboards and O-Dot signs asking drivers to do the same if they see anything out of the ordinary. "Maybe that little piece of information may mean something big to us," said Anderson.
