Three people were shot on Cedar Avenue in Cleveland Thursday afternoon.
A source has confirmed to News 5 that Carlos Anderson has been taken into custody in relation to the shooting.
Cleveland police confirmed that Anderson was arrested at 7:35 p.m. on July 14. According to court records, Anderson has been charged with felonious assault.
On Thursday, Cleveland police say a 9-year-old girl was shot in the leg. A 37-year-old woman was also shot in the leg and a 33-year-old man was shot in the arm.
All victims are stable. They were all taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.
Police say preliminary information indicated a man on foot started shooting and then ran off. Authorities were only able to provide a vague description — a black male with dreadlocks.
