Wedding wish comes true for terminally ill woman

Posted

A wedding wish came true on Sunday for a terminally ill young woman.

Amber is being cared for at Malachi House in Cleveland.  Malachi House staff, volunteers and even strangers helped make her dream come true.

There were flowers, a wedding cake, and music. A love story years in the making.

"I really loved him since I was little," said Amber from her hospital bed.

"I have butterflies in my stomach," Amber said before the ceremony.

Malachi House was founded to serve people who are terminally ill and need help.

"When I walked in and saw her she looked so beautiful, her eyes were so bright," said Judy Ghazoul Hilow, executive director of Malachi House.

"I want to say thank you for making my dream come true, " Amber said.
